Hellifield is a village in North Yorkshire, England
At the 2011 census, it had a population of 1,426.
Although small, it has a general store, a couple of car mechanics and a social club. For recreation, there is a table tennis club, a badminton club and a walking group. For those less energetic, there's a bowls club, a flower arranging group, a writers' group, a reading group, and a singing group. For the faithful, there's a CofE Church and a Methodist Chapel. For travel, there are bus services to Skipton and Settle (as long as you don't want one on a Sunday) and regular railway connections East, West and North from the historic railway station. You can just see the Flying Scotsman in the image (top-left) when it visited the station. The usual connections are via more ordinary diesel trains.
The Hellifield Herald is our magazine. It is free to everyone living in the village. It is a community based, not for profit publication, issued 10 times each year.
The most recent edition is shown at the beginning of the list, with one year's back-copies shown after. If you are able to do so, please support our advertisers. Without them, along with our other generous sponsors, this free magazine could not exist.
